44 percent of applicants to Carrington College-Boise were admitted for fall 2017


At Carrington College-Boise, 59 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 87 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The two-year private for-profit institution in Boise enrolled 429 students in fall 2017, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 22.6 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

94 percent of undergraduates are residents of Idaho, and 6 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (71 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (18 percent).

The school admitted 44 percent of the 115 students who applied for fall 2017. Of those who were admitted, 65 percent enrolled.
