Boise State University recently issued the following announcement.
The Boise State University Symphony Orchestra opens the new year of concerts with “The All American!” Works of American composers featured on this program include, Samuel Barber’s “Adagio for Strings”, the spirited and patriotic Finale from “Symphony #2 by Charles Ives, Steven Reineke’s "Celebration Fanfare”, guest conducted by Maestro James Ogle, and George Gershwin’s ever so popular “Rhapsody in Blue” with Del Parkinson, pianist, as guest soloist. Come join Maestro Purdy, Maestro Ogle, and the Boise State Symphony Orchestra for a fun evening of American Classics!
Admission is $7 for adults, $5 for seniors. Children, non-Boise State students of any age (with ID), and Boise State faculty, staff and students with ID are admitted free. All concert proceeds fund Boise State Music Scholarships.
Convenient parking for non-Boise State parking permit holders attending events in the Morrison Center Main Hall is available just south of the Morrison Center. Just follow the signs and/or parking attendant's directions.
