Median-sized businesses in Butte County zip codes in 2016 have less than five employees, according to County Business Patterns (CBP) statistics provided by the United States Census Bureau.

There were 56 total businesses in the county zip codes, with 11 retail trade businesses (19.6%) accounting for the largest proportion of these businesses. 38 businesses (67.9%) had fewer than five employees, and none had 250 or more.

The county with the largest median business size was Nez Perce County. Median-sized businesses in Nez Perce County was between five and nine.
